SET is Deer Valley's intervention period, Skyhawk Enrichment Time. During this SET period, our gifted sophomores picked and brilliantly led an activity to our gifted freshman. It is from an activity book designed for gifted high schoolers.
This spring students got to work on a Passion Project and share it with the group. Here is a "taste" of one of the projects: Syrian/Lebanese Food.
First Gifted SET period of the year! We met the gifted specialists, discussed which people in our lives can help us if we are stressed, and came up with positive thoughts to start our day. Someone's spirit animal is Shrek :)
