DVHS TSW Fact Sheet
Our Mission:
To aid students in building professional skills through exploration, exposure, and knowledge to help create a plan for their future career after high school whether that be going straight into the workforce, attending a trade or tech school, or attending a community college or beyond for that chosen job/career.
Parent & Student Commitment:
The TSW and VR programs are voluntary and require a commitment of participation from the student and their parents/guardians. Once in the program, students are committing to follow the chronology of course work and consultative services as prescribed by the TSW staff depending on the date of eligibility.
Overview:
Transition School to Work is the school based program that partners with Vocational Rehabilitation to expose students to a curriculum that aligns with the CTE Professional Skills Standards. All of our courses qualify as elective credits but do not count as a CTE credit.
