Hello, I'm Mrs.Carroll, and I am excited to be the Special Education ELA teacher at Deer Valley High School.

I am an Arizona native and a proud Deer Valley Unified School District graduate, attending DVUSD from Kindergarten through 12th grade before graduating from Mountain Ridge HIgh School in 2002. I earned my bachelor's degree in Art Education from Northern Arizona University.

Before joining Deer Valley, I spent 2 years as a substitute teacher in the Higley and Chandler Unified school Districts and two years as a Resource Paraprofessional in Chandler Unified.

Outside of school, I am married and have three children. I enjoy artsy projects, taking care and riding my horses, and spending time with my family. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with my students and helping them grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
