About Mr. Kittell
Hello,
My name is John Kittell and I've been a Social Studies teacher at Deer Valley High since 2022.
I have a Associates in International Business from Kirkwood Community College (Iowa,) a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Iowa, a Master's degree in Business Leadership from William Penn University (Iowa) and received my teaching certificate from Arizona State University.
In addition to teaching, I am an assistant coach on the freshmen football team, am co-sponsor of the GSA club, and help with the theatre.
In my spare time, I am a distance runner, having completed my last marathon in 2022. I enjoy watching most sports as well as attending the theatre. To decompress, I play video games.
