Hello and welcome! My name is Kassia Castillo-Jones, though your students probably know me as Ms. K.C. I currently teach biology. I have been with DVUSD since 2020, where I started my journey at Mountain Shadows Elementary. There, I fell in love with the students and found a family amongst the staff who inspired me to start my teaching career. I received my B.S. from ASU and am currently working on my Master's in Secondary Education with a gifted certificate. 

I have a wonderful husband and three crazy, ambitious teenagers. I love hunting, fishing, and anything that gets me outdoors. I am a big animal lover with three dogs, three guinea pigs, a snake, and fish. I would have a zoo if the hubby said yes!
