I have a BA in math from University of California, Santa Cruz and a M.Ed. from NAU. I have been teaching math for about a dozen years.  I was a chess instructor and coach before that. I have lived mostly in Arizona, though I was in Charlotte, NC for about ten years while I was head chess instructor in that school district. This is my first year at DVHS.
