I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English (2011) and a Master's Degree in Education (2013) from Arizona State University as well as a Master's Degree in Educational Administration (2017) from Grand Canyon University. 

I began my teaching career in 2011 as an English teacher and became a teacher coach in 2019. In 2023 I began teaching Art and Ceramics at Deer Valley High School.

I absolutely love teaching Visual Arts at Deer Valley! It is so neat to support students on their artistic journeys and it has been such a joy to grow our Ceramics program especially. We now offer four years of Ceramics as well as AP 3D Art & Design!
