My name is Max Loper and I teach 9th and 11th grade English Language Arts at Deer Valley High School. I am originally from the state of Delaware (small wonder and the first state) as well as New Jersey, where I graduated from high school. I attended the University of Delaware and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education in 2014. I moved to Arizona in 2016 and have been teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District since. It is my first year teaching at DVHS and I couldn’t be more excited to see some of my former students. Lastly, I am a father to a wonderful 4 year old boy also named Max.
